On the 20th Day of Christmas
I’m backkk 🤪 but I feel the need to reintroduce myself before we get started
because I am not the same chick I was 4 years ago when I birthed this blog
and quite frankly, I don’t have as much time as I did back then, so let’s get
straight to the point:
1. Surprise Surprise: I am no longer a stay-at-home mom (SAHM). I loved the
title and wore it well, but for the last 3 years I’ve been teaching, which is the
#1 reason why you don’t really hear from me. I teach an Audio/Video,
Technology & Film class and between work life and family life, I stay busy.
2. #MakingFamilyGaines - Jennevieve is now a big sister!! She has a little
brother, Mathew Gregory and he is the happiest little boy I know. She loves
him so much and has adjusted to being a big sister very well; in fact, she tells
me all the time that he is her baby.
3. I am removing “Domestic Goddess” from my title. Again, once I left the
SAHM life, so did that title. I still love homemaking, but I no longer have as
much time to dedicate as I once did and if I can be honest, most days we are
trying to keep our heads above water, between work and chores.
4. I am vastly approaching the rear end of my maternity leave and during that
time I have become a self-proclaimed, Netflix-Connoisseur of sort – which is
why I am here today. I am gifting you 20 recommendations on Netflix! If you
are like us, before my maternity leave by the time you found something to
watch on Netflix, you were too tired to actually watch it; so I’ve put together
this quick “Must Watch” list to hopefully save you from the constant scroll of
Netflix titles. Enjoy!
