A Homemaker's Paradise

Yesterday I had the opportunity to have an overdue outing with an amazing friend at the Southern Women's Show. It featured everything from fun and fashion to food! Can you say a homemaker's paradise??? The Southern Women's show tours about 10 cities and includes a plethora of exhibitors from small businesses to major retailers. We had loads of fun, Jennevieve had a mini shopping spree and we even got to meet the Retro Rad Chef, Emily Ellyn.

As you all know, I'm a sucker for bows for Jennevieve, and love to mix and match them with her outfits. Well, we found a booth that seemed to have her name written all over it. Bobbie Slater's cuteNspoiled shop had me with heart eyes the entire time 😍. I wish I could've taken it all home with me - I'm talking she had bows in every color, every combination imaginable. Let's just say you must visit her website and etsy site to see for yourself.

We ended the afternoon with an on-stage cooking show from Emily Ellyn where she made Watermelon Salsa 😋. You may recognize Emily from "Cupcake Wars" or "Cutthroat Kitchen."

She has an eccentric cooking style to match her big personality. It was a great pleasure to stand next to a trailblazer such as herself. Emily shared the recipe for her Chocolate Covered Cherry Jam and because I know sharing is caring I will also share it with you here.

Now, I would love to sit and chat about how great the Southern Women's Show is but I feel compelled to get started on Emily's Jam. Click here to find the show near you!
